Our Sweet Honey of Silverbrook JH

Honey is a loving family pet that enjoys children and will retrieve anything thrown. She enjoys lying on the couch or at your feet while in the house but changes gears and has all the energy you desire when hunting or competing in hunt tests. Honey is entering her 5^th season hunting geese and ducks and has retrieved hundreds of birds.  She participated in AKC hunt tests and received a Junior Hunter title in the fall of 2009.  She continues to train at the senior hunter level doing multiple marks, blinds, and honoring other dogs but I do not plan to enter her in any other AKC hunt tests at this time.  She has had 2 litters of puppies.  Both litters were sired by FC AFC Small Craft Advisory, a full brother to Honor.  She has produced 20 puppies from these litters in March 2010 and May 2011.  Several of these puppies are actively competing and have received hunt test titles. Holly Councell (Co-owner)

Holly pedigree has a nice combination of Eastern Shore hunting dogs and dogs that competed in Field Trial, Super Retriever Series, and AKC Hunt Tests.  Some of the more notable dogs in her pedigree include FC AFC Pin Oak’s Texas Rex, FC AFC Dare to Dream, War Eagle's True Dedication, FC AFC Rebel With A Cause, and Candlewoods Hawkeye Joe MH.  Holly is a clean and quiet dog in the house and loves children.  She also likes to go for rides in trucks and on boats.  She is a 62 pound bundle of eagerness that is lightning quick and retrieves multiple marks and is very efficient on blind retrieves.  She hunts 5-6 days a week in Maryland for waterfowl and has made trips to Canada for early season waterfowl adventures.  She has retrieved over 4000 birds during her hunting career.
